Energy cost optimization of groundwater treatment using biochar adsorption process: An experimental approach

Abstract This study has aimed to reduce the energy costs using agricultural waste derived (pistachio shells) biochar application for groundwater treatment. An cost indicator been figured out applying a new quantitative approximation. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) applied optimize of Energy assessment treatment carried with regards nitrate (NO3−), fluoride (F−), boron (B), iron (Fe (II)) and lead (Pb) removal March (before irrigation) October (post related 10 observation points in an arid semi-arid area.
